Guardforce AI Co Ltd (NASDAQ:GFAI) chairwoman and CEO Olivia Wang tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the recent expansion of contracts by subsidiary, Beijing Wanjia Security System, with two long-time retail clients.

Wang explained that Beijing Wanjia has been providing retail solutions for 28 years, including CCTV security, alarm system operations, security engineering, installation, and maintenance. It has developed smart retail solutions to enhance store operational efficiency and improve loss prevention.

She discussed how these extended contracts, securing alarm system services for two years and managing over 120,000 channels of video flow, are foundational to Guardforce AI’s emerging AI business. Guardforce AI's market presence in Thailand, mainland China, and Malaysia has enabled it to better understand client needs and implement new AI and robotics solutions.

These developments align with Guardforce AI’s strategy to integrate AI into retail services, enhancing competitiveness and refining solutions in real-world settings. Wang highlighted that these contracts strengthen the company's market position and drive AI technology development and application.
